" "NVC is a process of changing what is given attention to from right/wrong, normal/not normal / what makes sense / what follows the rule / what’s suppsed to happen / what looks good …
onto what is going on for us as feelings and needs and also onto choice." Miki Kashtan #thefearlessheart

I’ve been practicing NVC since 2010. I’ve participated in around 50 days of training with CNVC trainers and have been on around 10 NVC camps where learning and living are intermingled and with the kids around the challenge is huge! (immensely rewarding too). I participated in the Leadership program held by BAY area NVC in 2013 and in 2015 I trained with Sarah Peyton and Susan Skye in NVC and Interpersonal neurobiology specifically in the area of trauma repair. I am on the journey towards CNVC Certification and I hope to be certified in 2017. I have been a teacher and trainer for 19 years and love being in groups.
I also run a series of workshops called Empathy Injection, based on connected to self, other, community … they are all about reflecting on relationships and getting enough empathy so that we function with more connection in them.
I also have a lot of experience with the challenges of parenting a boy in this culture
