De-escalation strategies

Learn the basics of De-escalation rooted in Nonviolent Communication.

How might you de-escalate a tense situation with someone who disagrees with you but is in dialogue with you?
How might you de-escalate with very angry or drunk people in public situations?

Come and learn and expand into empathic connection with those who might disagree or want to disrupt you.

You can choose a 2 hour / 3 hour / 4 hour or 6 hour version of this training to suit your team or group.

This is a hands-on, interactive session with several  practice spaces, (utilising break-out rooms if done online)

All sessions include roleplay.  The longer versions allow for more discussion of your specific scenarios.

Watch this 1.5 hour online de-escalation session for Extinction Rebellion activists which takes you through practice of the BREATHE de-escalation practice
