Ceri Buckmaster Privacy Policy Updated 17th May 2018 and 6th April 2022
We have a named person as ‘Data Controller’ of the personal data you provide for Ceri Buckmaster’s workshop, events and mailing lists. See below for who this currently is.
Why we need your data We need to know your basic personal data in order to provide you with on-going updates, marketing and information. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.
How we keep your data We use GDPR compliant, double opt-in sign up forms for regular updates in mailchimp. You will receive emails about your booking status for events and for future events until you advise us otherwise. We will also sometimes use googleforms for some registration and feedback forms with which there is optional identification. We also use facebook groups for advertising purposes.
How long we keep your data Your information we use for marketing and educational purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.
One to one sessions and mediations I will make notes in sessions to help me track progress and actions. Handwritten notes are kept stored in a locked cabinet and destroyed 6 months after our last session. Online personal notes are kept in a password protected file.
This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected for workshop signups, via the website and in sessions. Your information will not be sold, reused, rented or disclosed to unspecified third parties. You are entitled to see any information held about you and may request any necessary changes to ensure that it is accurate and kept up-to-date. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. While our online posts may be viewed by children, we do not seek to receive data from children.
Breach of privacy If for any reason you believe that your privacy has been breached through the use of this site, please let the Data Controller know immediately by email, and we will do our best to promptly determine and correct the problem.
We will also immediately inform you of any inappropriate, unauthorized or inadvertent access, disclosure or acquisition of any information pertaining to you, whether by an authorized, unauthorized or unknown party, and will cooperate fully with any reasonable requests surrounding such an Incident.
Updates Do check this policy regularly as we will keep it up to date. When I do, I will also revise the “last updated” date at the top of the privacy policy. Please contact the Data Controller if want to discuss any information contained here.
